New Cover, New Opportunities

    Dear LJ.

First, regarding the cover, I have a problem with its background. The Gauntlet Assassin is for me a futuristic thriller, and while the man feels OK, I think the background misses that futuristic feel. I think it should at least be city, preferably with some immuminated signs etc. rather than country.
On the other hand, the “composition” feels all right, title, author’s name etc.
I think it’s a good idea to try and change the cover, but the new one doesn’t hit it for me.

As for translators, I don’t know any english->spanish one, but know of a few authors who go english->French or the other way. As “indie” they have found their translators by choosing a “royalties split” system.

David Gaughran had a great post about it on his blog last year : http://davidgaughran.wordpress.com/2011/09/19/share-the-wealth-a-radical-solution-to-translation-costs/
